I need to clear some
space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. Russia is
creating a new line of armor based on a common Armata chassis. This kit is for
the T-15 Infantry Combat Vehicle, which is informally known as the Terminator due
to the similarity to the T-1 Hunter-Killer weapon used in the Terminator 3
movie. Panda joins a growing number of companies to create kits for vehicles in
this Armata series. Now that Panda Hobby is gone, you have a limited opportunity
to add one to your collection.

I found a half-dozen
of these kits listed on eBay (from around the world), but as a Top Rated Plus US
Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this item very quickly. Here

Panda Hobby recently
went out of business, so there is no longer a website, but from other sources,

listing showing this is a new tool from 2016. The site provides a link to
download the complete 17-page instruction set and painting guide, along with many
links to reviews, aftermarket parts and galleries of other T-15 Armata projects.

Scott Van Aken
did a First Look Review on the cybermodeler.com site. He shows the parts layout
from the instructions and gives us a closeup photo of the photo etch fret. He recommends
this kit to anyone comfortable working with small PE bits, saying: “Those
who model modern fighting vehicles will be quite pleased with this one. It is a
kit that will definitely look great on your display shelves.”

Michael Benolkin wrote
a compelling First Look Review on the cybermodeler.com site. He provides great
photos of the parts and box art, along with his inciteful comments about the
kit features. He was enthusiastic about this new line from Panda, saying: “The
kit has some great details and possibilities. The Armata series will look great
on the shelf and on the contest table”.

Cookie Sewell wrote
a fascinating First Look Review on the missing-lynx.com site where he compares
similar releases from different companies. We get some good background information
on the development of the Armata family, but rather than showing photos of the
kit parts, there are a couple of photos of a completed, but unpainted, model. He
highly recommended the model, saying: “Overall this is a nicely done kit
and does match the appearance of the T-15.”

Mike posted a
very thorough In-Box Review on the britmodeller.com site. The ten photos of the
parts are well done and quite professional. He walks through the assembly steps,
highlighting the tracks and upper hull and reveals valuable information along
the way. Overall, he was pleased with the kit, noting a few downsides, saying:
“The model itself is quite well moulded with some good detail, but the
complex, weak tracks and relatively simple decals let it down a bit.”

Models presented a long (20 minute) Unboxing Video on YouTube. There
is narration throughout and the sprues are taken out of the bags for closer
inspection.

Dan Brown presented a
very thorough Build Review on the web.ipmsusa3.org site with seven photos of his
beautifully finished model. He shares his build experience and provides
valuable tips for getting the most out of the kit. He feels experienced
modellers would love the kit, saying: “Overall this is an interesting and
impressive kit. I really enjoyed working on it even though it was a challenge
at times.”

This kit is in a large 16.5” x 12” x 3” box with realistic box art. As
you can see from the pictures, the package is in excellent condition and is still
sealed with four tape strips, so it is factory
sealed and absolutely build-ready.

This item contains one complete
injection molded plastic model kit with over 420 green and clear plastic parts,
768 brown plastic individual track links parts, a large fret of photo etched
metal parts, twisted copper wire and a small decal sheet. It requires cement

Those familiar with my listings can tell
that I really enjoy these products and the modeling hobby. I like to provide
more than just the bare facts about the items, trying to lead you into
discovering more about the subjects and optimizing your builds (if that is your
goal). I started out picking up models that I was interested in, with the eye
toward building them when I had time. Always a bargain-hunter, I accumulated
many more than I can build, so I found myself in a Collector status (sounds
nicer than a hoarder).

As I am sure you have noticed, my items
are almost always sealed and in mint condition (I call them Gift-Ready), since
I only open them when I am ready to build them. Now I enjoy making these
products available to my fellow modelers; both Builders and Collectors. For the
Builders, there are probably better (at least cheaper) ways to add to your
project lists than buying from me, but you know you are getting top quality.
For Collectors, my goal is to save you a few bucks over the competition for the
same item in factory sealed and collectible (or resellable) condition.
