THANK YOU!*******AUTHENTIC Antique MULTI-VIEW SMALL TOWN AMERICA Real Photo Postcard RPPC Postmarked and Copyrighted by Publisher From 1910. Card is posted with a one cent stamp and a rather long message written in pencil. After I finished taking photos of several postcards, I noticed a square piece of paper on the floor near me and discovered it was the stamp for this card. I am always very careful in handling postcards – especially the 100+ year old ones. The stamp must have been on there very loosely and taking it in and out of the poly sleeve must have been enough to cause it to fall off. I will include it in the sleeve with the postcard to anyone who may purchase it and leave it up the the buyer what they wish to do with it. Card depicts several THUMBNAIL SIZE VIEWS of various OTHER POSTCARDS or PHOTOS from GARY, SOUTH DAKOTA SD. They are arranged around a HORSE SHOE and a “Good Luck” message is in the center. As of the 2020 census, the POPULATION OF GARY WAS 240. It has gone down in population size since 1940 according to wikiland.com. In good condition according to the Postcard Rating System with mild corner/edge wear, some very minor raised imprints from the back (perhaps the person writing the message pressed too hard with the pencil) – but this is barely noticeable. Also, the card is only slightly curved which is an extremely common occurance with old photos over time. If you look very closely at the card, you will see very mild discoloration in the form of dirt, most likely. It seems like a lot of flaws, but they are all very minor and truly, not bad at all considering this piece of paper is 114 year old!!! Otherwise, I see no evidence of rips, tears, creases, bends, or pinholes. But, please see photo and you be the judge. ***SMALL TOWN AMERICA POSTCARDS ARE EXTREMLY POPULAR RIGHT NOW.
