The five interior compartment doors include a polystyrene sub-line, which decreases air loss and improves temperature recovery after closing the door. The Fisher Isotemp Freezer includes an ergonomically designed cam-actuated door handle, allowing for proper door compression making a firm seal when the door closes. The foamed-in-place insulation minimizes power consumption used on the Freezer. This allows the lab freezer cabinet to reach the temperature set point much quicker. In addition, the freezer door has a triple-point door gasket which delivers longer holding times in the event of a power failure. The ultra low freezer includes microprocessor controls allowing the user to set temperature along with alarms, should the unit fall out of the temperature set-points. Alarm controls notify the end-user when the -80 freezer door is open, low battery, probe failure, along with high and low stages failure. This -80 Freezer has a temperature set-point range of -50° to -86°C and a capacity of 13 cubic feet. The ultra low Freezer comes with a polished stainless steel interior and shelves to support a full load of samples. This allows for easy cleaning of the freezer chamber when needed.
