This filter additionally includes a 6-pack of Matala Filter Media (2 blue, 2 green, and 2 gray) which both trap debris and provide surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize, which help to keep your pond’s ecosystem balanced and healthy. The new “Swivel Inlet Fitting” has barb sizes of 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/4″, and 1-1/2″. The Matala Biosteps II is an open flow gravity return style filter.
