Work Performed: – Completely Disassembled and Thoroughly Cleaned (cabinet and circuit boards)- Capacitors Visually Inspected and Replaced as necessary- Voltage Regulators Checked and Replaced as Necessary- Power Connector Reinforced and Solder Joints Reflowed- Old Thermal Compound Removed and New Applied to Chip(s) on Heat Sink- Cleaned Heat Sink- Control Panel Carbon Pads (buttons) Inspected and Cleaned – Any Faults Discovered During Testing are Diagnosed and Repaired Tests performed: – FM Reception- AM Reception- Keypad Functionality- Preset Retention- Alarm 1- Alarm 2- Clipping Detect- Display Dimming- Remote Functionality- Aux Input- Aux Output- 48-Hour Continuous Power (verify functionality after)- Power Loss Alarm Function- Power Loss Preset and Time Retention – 1-Hour Continuous Play at 50% Volume Unit requires one (1) 9-volt battery (for preset retention and alarming during power loss, this is optional and the unit can be used without it); remote requires one (1) CR2032.
