Issued by Gambia on May 22, 1986, to celebrate the Karl Benz Automobile centenary, this mint set of eight stamps features the following automobiles: 1986 Mercedes 500 (Germany), 1935 Cord 810 (USA), 1957 Borgward Isabella Coupe (Germany), 1985-6 Lamborghini Countach (Italy), 1955 Ford Thunderbird (USA), 1956 Citroen DS19 (France), Bugatti Atlante (France), and 1936 Horch 853 (Germany). The stamp designs also include the flags of the automobile source countries. Very Fine (VF) centering, mint never hinged (MNH) set.
