Neck: Rounded neck.Fretboard: Rosewood with scale of 24.6″.Inlays: Dot.Radius: 12″.Bridge: Original 70’s Tune-O-Matic.Vibrato: Original Bigsby Horseshoe.Tuners: Original 70’s Encased.Pickups: Original Super Trons.Controls: V/V/T/T Includes: Comes with Original 70’s Brown Case.Description: These 70’s Gretsch’s carry a stigma for a drop in quality.This is mainly sure to a change in parts that were of a lower cost and of less quality.However, if you play them in comparison to todays Gretsch’s made overseas, they are quite good.This one is fully set up and plays well. The action is set to .090 to .110.The Gretsch Horseshoe vibratos are among the smoothest ever made.It has a sound reminiscent of the vintage era Gretschs while also having for sustain.The bridge functions good and the tuners stay pretty well in tune, even with the vibrato. Condition: The finish has visible checking lines in it.There was once some kind of decoration glued to the front that left a mark.The front also has a small ding. The back has a few lite dings and belt buckle scratches.The back bottom edge pf the headstock has a spot where the finish flaked off.The first four frets have lite fret wear. The roller bar of the vibrato is a later replacement.The original is included and has oxidation on it. The case has nicks, scratches, and fraying.The back has some loos tolex along the edges.
