Ultra rare model, being an anniversary or specially commissioned model, yet along in this top condition, gently used and complete with original box and papers. Swiss movement inside. Medium sized case, impossible to find it nowadays, 35mm including the crown. Ultra rare flat/slim case, only 5.2 mm. 20 microns gold electroplated case. Fully and completely functioning. EXTREMELY RARE MODEL !!! A light alloy case with superb design, a 20 microns yellow gold electroplating finish (case marked between the lugs) and a flat mineral crystal, will safeguard your precious timepiece for many years to come. The yellow gold colored dial with a sun-burst brushed finish, applied gold colored indices for the hours, the iconic Movado dot and black printed logotype at 12 o’clock and sharp printed Mercedes Benz star logo at 12 o’clock, will flatter any wrist with it’s timeless design and make it a perfect match for a classical style and Mercedes Benz automobile. A four screws stainless steel back, makes the watch water resistant (tho do not try it or get it wet, it is a vintage timepiece). The watch secures on your wrist with a black leather band that has retained the original Movado signed buckle. High quality Swiss made analog quartz movement. Every known brand submits the watch to a 2-phase test in a chamber, where it has to withstand to pressure for the minimum length of time required by industrial standards. It may seem a paradox, but low pressure-resistance, say at 0.5 bar equivalent to 50 cm depth is more critical to achieve, because increasing pressure tends to compress the seals, thereby increasing the resistance; the second phase test conducted at 3 bar (30 m.) is confirmatory.
