Hand shaft: 33.2mm. The movement is 6.25″ w (inclusive of the hammer heads) x 4.75″ h x 2.375″ d (inclusive of the pendulum leader). The movement can be front mounted or rear mounted. Condition NOS – however, the Movement will need cleaned, oiled and serviced, since it has been stored away in storage for many years. The Springs winds up (Nice & Tight). They do not slip. We recommend that you oil the movement before installation with a good clock oil or good sewing machine oil. Under NO circumstances should you ever use WD-40 or penetrating oils or kerosene for any reason in any mechanical clock movement. This movement will be great for that kit project or to replace a like movement in a clock you may already have that needs new life. This movement is brass with bronze bushings for added durability. It features 5-hammers and plays the Westminster chime quarterly followed by the Big Ben hour strike. It also has a chime silence lever. The movement is designed for use in longer case wall clocks.
