This is a first release American Girl Josefina Montoya 18” doll by Pleasant Company in very good to excellent used condition for her age. She has the wider, heavy body with no tag and orangish tone cloth, almost amber eyes, long feathery lashes with a slight curl and softer limbs. Her arms and legs are tight (although not as tight as when new) and show light play wear and small shines (the largest is one the back of one leg by her ankle). She stands easily and holds a pose with her arms perfectly. Her hair is original, full & shiny, and uncut with a texture to it that I like but some may consider dry. It has been washed and conditioned with synthetic wig shampoo but no heat has been applied. Her body & limbs are clean with a shine on her left ankle. Her eyes open & close properly with all their feathery dark lashes. Her cloth body shows very slight aging. Her peachy face color is lovely with some fading of the paint, especially to the lips. There are signs of play and small shines to her face. Her neck strings are long and round with some wear. She has her earrings but they have silvered due to time. She is entirely original. She has been thoroughly cleaned and is free of any odors. Please see photos for full description. I am happy to send more if requested. From a smoke free home. We do have a labradoodle puppy who is low to no shed. He is not allowed in our doll rooms. We are happy to combine shipping.
