Significant changes in design came in 1972 and a complete re-work of products came after World Kitchen Inc took ownership after 2000.Offered here are a – RETRO CORNING*Ware; F-1-B ROUND 2.5 Liter, Casserole OR Soufflé-Dish in the RARE French-Bisque Pattern with a Fireside Crystal-Clear Knob-Handle Lid – in near MINT – Most-Excellent – barely-used condition. This pattern was available ~1983-84.All surfaces are super-highly-glossy, shiny, and clean. There are no chips, nor cracks – just a little pinprick on the inner rim of the Lid; no hazing, significant rubs nor scratches.Casserole-Souffle Dish -The Casserole-Souffle Dish has a silky-smooth, Bright-White interior surface. The fired-on exterior colour is Transition Brown – Mid-Tan-Brown beneath the flared upper rim, quickly transitioning to a Lighter-Speckled-Beige to Creamy-White for the Casserole’s sides – lightest near the base. There is only minimal fleck colour-loss or minimal contact marking. There is no fade. The exterior surface has a little texture to it; a glistening finish – as manufactured.This Casserole OR Souffle-Dish is embossed on the base “CORNING WARE; “circled R”; .. …; F-1-B 2.5 LITER; two embossed dots on the base’s center – typical on CORNING pieces”This Casserole OR Souffle-Dish measures 8 3/4″ across the top edge, in diameter; 6 3/4″-7/8″ in diameter, across the base seat rim; 3 1/2″ in height.Lid – This LID is domed-style made of heavy-gauge glass. The knob-handle is a generous 1 7/8″ in diameter and flat & depressed topped.The LID is embossed along the edge – “CORNING N.Y. U.S.A.”; “29”.
