Use a panel removal tool to remove the cover off the screw mounts on the rear tailgate by popping it off on one end and working down each side.2. On the tailgate table for JL, open the tailgate table and utilize 3 larger holes and run the long bolt through each one of them. On the backside of the bolt, in turns install a o-rings and spacer onto the bolt. Finished three bolts install.3. Line up the bolts with the factory mounts. Install each bolt 2-3 turns so the threads catch in each mount. (May two person required, one person to hold the tailgate while the another person starts each bolt in the mounts.)4. Once the bolts are started, tighten each bolts in a pattem 4-5 turns at a time and move to the next one. Repeat the process until each bolt is snug against the tailgate.
